The B57 is a 3.0 diesel six. It replaced the N57 in cars like the G30, G11, and G05.
Some B57 engines have one turbo and some have more. They do not just swap. The car's software and exhaust must match.
Will it fit my car?
Common cars: G30 530d, G11 730d, G05 X5 30d and 40d, G01 X3 30d. Always check the letters on the engine plate.
An N57 from an F10 will not replace a B57 in a G30 without a big job. Buy the code for your car.
What we check
Look at the timing chain area, the turbo oil feed, and the bottom for oil. Compression should be even on all cylinders.
The photos should show the stamp, the sump, and the turbo.
How to pick the right engine
Open the B57 page. Match the year and power. Send the VIN if the badge and the stamp may not agree.
Warranty
Many engines come with up to 12 months warranty. A proper workshop must fit the engine. The warranty is for a fault inside the engine. It does not cover the wrong engine, a dry start, the wrong oil, or damage done after you open the crate.
Shipping
Crate shipping from Hamburg costs 299 EUR. We pack the engine in a strong crate and send it to the address on your order. You need a forklift or an engine crane to unload it.
